They have a lot more features than your regular neighborhood swimming pool, which makes them great day-trip. Water park details and pricing are current for 2017. We hope you have a great time in the water. And if there’s anything we can help you with for your home’s water in the meantime, be sure to give Indy Soft Water a call. Splash Island in Plainfield

The tropical theme of Splash Island is a fun backdrop for a mini-getaway. This water park in Plainfield is great for the whole family. With kiddie slides and a special “lily pad crossing,” you can either let older kids explore on their own, or stick together with your younger ones. You can even pack your own cooler if you want to bring in your lunch or snacks.

How about taking a ride on the winding lazy river? The 900-foot Leisure River lets you drift along in your own tube.

Atlantis Waterpark in Clarksville

This park might be best for a younger age group. It’s all about the slides at Atlantis Waterpark. They’ve stuck to the classic water park features, and they do them well. Mount Olympus has two body slides and two tube slides for guests 48” or taller. For the younger ones, five more mini slides are available in another section of the park.
Fav Water Features:
Every 10 minutes you can have fun jumping the waves in Tsunami Sea. Take on this giant wave pool with your own swimming skills, or grab an inner tube for an extra boost.

Monon Waterpark in Carmel

Located in the heart of Carmel, Indiana, the Waterpark at the Monon Center is the go-to summer spot for a lot of families in the Indy Soft Water community. While there is a height limit for some of the slides and activity zones, most kids will still have lots of areas to explore at this park. Little ones can enjoy splashing around at the zero-depth activity pool, and serious swimmers are welcome to swim laps inside.
Fav Water Features:
We love The Wall at this park! Practice climbing up, then take a plunge into the drop zone. No diving is allowed, but it’s a great spot to practice your stunt routine.
Park Cost:
Daily passes for youth ages 3-15 are $7, and ages 16 and up are $10. You can also purchase monthly memberships and get some good park time in before the school season starts back up.
Drive-Time:
If you’re already in the Carmel area, we’d recommended biking to the Monon Center. But if you have to drive, you’ll probably be looking at a 40-minute trip from Plainfield or Avon, and just 20-minutes from Zionsville, Noblesville, or Fishers. It can be nice to get away and splash in one of these top Indiana water parks. But be sure to have plenty of drinking water with you while you’re playing in the sun. Remember to fill up a few reusable water bottles before you head out the door. Stay hydrated, and have fun!
