Noblesville

Hello, Noblesville Neighbors!

If you haven’t already heard, Noblesville Soft Water has joined the Indy Soft Water family! We’re here to service all of your existing EcoWater equipment. We also sell, service, and rent water softeners and drinking water filtration systems for both residential and commercial use.

Part of Your Community

Locally-grown and family-owned, Indy Soft Water has been working with homes and businesses in the greater Indianapolis area since 1964. It’s an honor to serve our neighbors in Noblesville!

We enjoy being active in our community and love supporting great causes. In 2016, we teamed up with Peace Learning Center, a local non-profit that provides outreach education on the values of respect, dignity, and dialogue. We gave 1% of our new sales in September to PLC, and we’ve also supplied them with a safe drinking water fountain for the kiddos in their programs. These folks are doing some truly amazing work—it’s been such a feel good for us!

We’re also a proud supporter of the Noblesville High School Band. Our sales manager, Dan Cook, leads the way on this front. In Fall 2016, he helped fill a box truck full of household supplies for individuals affected by the tornadoes in Kokomo.

About Your Water

There are a few key concerns for water quality in Noblesville. Like most of Indiana, the Noblesville area is known for having extremely hard water. Most measurements for “very hard” water clock in at 180 ppm. The Noblesville average more than doubles that. According to the 2015 Water Quality Report, the average degree of hardness is a whopping 400 ppm.

What makes Noblesville water unique, though, are its water sources. The Morse Reservoir and Cicero Creek subwatersheds have consistently tested high for nitrate (typically from fertilizer runoff) and E. coli. You can learn more on page 85 of this report. Local water facilities work to treat these contaminants, but it’s always nice to have an extra line of defense.

Filtering water right at your own tap helps make sure you’re getting the highest water quality possible. The right filter can remove any nitrate, chlorine, and other dissolved metals that the regular city treatment process might have missed—including iron, copper, and lead.

Over the years, we’ve noticed that some of our best water systems for Noblesville residents address two main things: water hardness and drinking water contaminants.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any specific questions or concerns about your water quality. Our complimentary consultations are designed to give you all the information you need to better understand your home’s water.
