I recently viewed a documentary called Liquid Assets: The Story of Our Water Infrastructure that was an incredibly informative and easy to understand demonstration of the connection between the United State’s drinking water, its subsequent relationship to storm and waste water, and the potential problems caused by our country’s failing infrastructure. It was fascinating to see the magnitude of what major metropolitan areas face to keep our water safe and accessible. In addition, the film highlights some areas where communities are falling short of this goal and how it is affecting overall water quality.
